Wautoma is located in the heart of Central Wisconsin, and is home to around 2,000 residents. It is located in the center of Waushara County and is also the county seat.
There are a plethora of different things to do and explore in the Wautoma area. The Bird Creek Park is a great little spot with playground equipment for the younger kids and a splash pad for kids of all ages. Golfers will enjoy the Waushara Country Club, a 27-hole course that offers three different 9-hole courses to pick from. All of these courses play almost 3,200 yards from the tips and provide a challenge, no matter your skill level.
Wautoma is also home to many delicious local restaurants that each provide unique dishes for their patrons. Christianos Pizza is a local gem that serves delicious specialty pizzas, divine pasta, hot sandwiches and even calzones. Christianos also does takeout, so you can eat it on the go if you’re passing through. The Lakeshore Family Restaurant is a great family-friendly spot that has a full menu serving breakfast any time of the day, lunch, and dinner.
